Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and support the next generation of scientists? Our well-established secondary school in Stevenage is seeking a passionate and motivated teacher to join our Science department.
About the Role: As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 in a wide range of scientific subjects, including biology, chemistry, and physics. You will be helping students develop critical thinking skills and fostering a love for science through both theoretical knowledge and practical investigations.
Key Responsibilities:路 Planning and delivering engaging and high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. 路 Inspiring students to explore the wonders of science while ensuring a strong understanding of core scientific principles. 路 Assessing student progress through regular feedback and adapting teaching methods to suit their learning needs. 路 Promoting scientific inquiry and experimentation in a safe, stimulating environment. 路 Contributing to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities such as science clubs or STEM events.
What Were Looking For:路 A qualified Science teacher with a passion for teaching science and inspiring young minds. 路 Strong subject knowledge across all three sciences (biology, chemistry, and physics). 路 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment. 路 A proactive approach to teaching, with the ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners. 路 Enthusiasm for professional development and a desire to contribute to the schools wider goals.
