We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Science Teacher or a Cover Teacher with Science teaching experience to teach at a well-established independent preparatory school that prides itself on providing an exceptional education for its students.

Position: Science Teacher / Cover Teacher (with Science experience)
Location: Dacorum
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Year Groups: Year 3 to Year 8
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that are aligned with the curriculum for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
- Use practical experiments and interactive teaching methods to develop students' understanding and enthusiasm for Science.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that students of all abilities are supported and challenged appropriately.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to aid development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
What Academics and the school are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Science across primary and lower secondary levels
- A dynamic and engaging teaching style that encourages curiosity and independent thinking
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to create a stimulating learning atmosphere
- Ability to start immediately and commit to full-time hours
