- To join our dedicated Hertfordshire service, emphasising Family Safeguarding.
- You will ensure a high-quality and consistent service to families with either drug and/or alcohol-related issues engaged with Children's Services as part of the Family Safeguarding Service.
- The role is co-located within the family safeguarding teams of Swindon Borough Council, in which recovery coordinators work within a multidisciplinary team of social workers, domestic abuse workers and mental health specialists.
- Your role is to support parents of children with social services' involvement. Therefore, you will be conducting home visits as part of your role.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must have worked as a substance misuse recovery worker with families previously
- Looking for only 3 to 4 days a week.
- Must have a car, mileage will be paid.
