We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Housing Team Leader.

This is a Temporary role based in Hertfordshire and offers 4 days in office and 1 day working from home.

The ideal candidate will require previous experience in the Housing sector, covering tenancy matters, legislation, customer service and allocations. Good working knowledge of minimising void times, resolving anti-social behaviour and effective tenancy management will be beneficial.

Day to day duties will include:

• Oversee housing management services to ensure high standards that meet resident needs, aligning with the client's vision, values, and corporate goals

• Support the Head of Tenancy Services in developing and updating policies and procedures to comply with housing legislation and best practices

• Track team performance, foster a performance-driven culture, and ensure targets are met consistently

• Offer clear direction, motivation, and support to the team, facilitating effective communication, personal responsibility, and professional growth through appraisals and training plans

• Ensure all legal and tenancy agreement requirements related to housing tenures are fully met

• Assist the Head of Tenancy Services in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service

• Perform regular quality checks, both in-office and on-site, to maintain high standards

• Work alongside other teams to support the implementation of housing management and allocations policies

• Oversee 4 direct reports

The candidate will require a driving licence and an Enhanced DBS
