Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People is the primary provider of youth work, careers education information advice and guidance, and work-related learning including work experience to young people in Hertfordshire.
The Service deliver targeted prevention and early intervention work to ensure that young people get the guidance they need by offering high quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to young people who are in learning and NEET, with a focus on vulnerable groups.
It supports young people who are challenged in education, their communities or home life to ensure a successful transition to adulthood.
About the roleYou will have the ability to quickly establish positive relationships with diverse groups of young people and partners, to respond flexibly to their needs and to the priorities of the Service.
Good organisation and communication skills are essential as you will be producing reports and corresponding with young people, parents, and partner agencies. You should be confident in the use of IT including to accurately record data.
About youEssential:
- Full UK Driving Licence and regular access to a vehicle
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Confident use of IT
- Ability to quickly establish positive relationships with a diverse group of young people and partners.
Desirable:
- CEIAG Level 6 Qualification
