Children's Social Worker, Assessment Team, HertfordshireRole Overview:Pertemps are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the Children’s Assessment team. As an Assessment Social Worker, you will manage complex and diverse caseloads, delivering first-class support to vulnerable children and families. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans under CIN and CP frameworks, and work collaboratively with families, courts, and partner agencies.Key Responsibilities:

Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
Develop and implement care plans that support CIN and CP frameworks.
Manage complex caseloads with professionalism and accountability.
Contribute to court proceedings, including preparing reports and attending hearings.
Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for children.
Maintain accurate and timely records using Microsoft IT packages.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience in children and families assessment/safeguarding.
Court proceedings experience desirable.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, policies, and procedures.
Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
