Quality Assurance Senior Support Officer

Tate Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a local authority business who are looking for a Quality Assurance Senior Support Officer to join their Safeguarding team based in Stevenage.

  • Pay rate- 17.29 per hour
  • Contract- Temporary assignment until April 2025
  • Location- Stevenage (Office Based)
  • Hours- Full time, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)

We are actively recruiting for a Quality Assurance Senior Support Officer to support the Safeguarding Boards Business Unit based in Stevenage.

You will play a key role in ensuring that children are effectively safeguarded by agencies in Hertfordshire by working with the Partnership and Service Manager to ensure that there is an effective multi-agency quality assurance programme that leads to improved outcomes for children and families including:

  • Coordinating effective reviews of the circumstances of individual children and families
  • Coordinating an effective programme of other quality assurance activity
  • Ensuring that any lessons from quality assurance activity are implemented
  • Supporting the work of key sub-groups and other ad hoc groups including arranging meetings, liaising with chairs, preparation of papers, minute taking, chasing actions etc.
  • You will be leading on quality assurance workstreams, working closely with colleagues and external partners and individuals within the community.

What we need from you:

  • You will have some knowledge and experience of working with children and safeguarding.
  • You will have knowledge of quality assurance processes.
  • Your previous experience working in a collaborative team is essential in this role as together the team will work towards achieving goals and objective.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and upsetting information.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills including minute taking.
