Join our Defence and National Security business as an Infrastructure Architect and play a crucial role in making the world more sustainable through innovation. Day-to-day of the role:- Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet stringent security and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate new solutions with existing systems and technologies.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to colleagues, enhancing their skills and knowledge in infrastructure technology.
- Offer technical support during testing phases, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain essential documentation such as architectural diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical guides.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, trends, and best practices to foster continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure, including operating systems, operational monitoring, backup, and recovery.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with security standards, frameworks, or benchmarks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable..
- Demonstrable experience in Operational Acceptance and related documentation.
- Understanding of Software Development and Testing Lifecycles.
- Experience across all testing phases such as Integration, System, Regression, FAT, SAT, UAT, OAT, and witness testing.
- Service Readiness experience.
- Knowledge of Configuration/Change/Release management principles.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a systematic approach to defect resolution.
