Sonic Summary

The Equipment Test Architect position is a 12-month contract role based in Stevenage, requiring 2 days onsite per week and offering a salary of up to £90 per hour (Umbrella).
The role involves leading the development of Test Equipment TRS and collaborating with delivery and design leads to define and implement Test and Testability Policy.
Candidates should have experience in Development and Production Test Techniques, as well as knowledge of structured hardware Modelling techniques, preferably eXpress.
Experience in creating test strategies and Automated Test Equipment for new products is essential, along with some experience supporting Manufacturing and Design teams.
SC clearance eligibility is required for this position.

Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an Equipment Test Architect to undertake a long term contract.

The role:

• Lead the development of the Test Equipment TRS for the product.• Responsible for working with the Delivery lead and Design lead for the definition and implementation of the Test and Testability Policy within a Programme.• Support the overall Test Equipment Development activity to ensure delivery of required Test Equipment.• Liaise with Manufacturing and PDS teams for Test Equipment related activities• Support the definition of an optimal BIT coverage at sub-system level.• Lead the development of diagnostic strategies for production.

Skills/Experience:

• Experience of Development and Production Test Techniques and implementation.• Knowledge of structured hardware Modelling techniques (preferably eXpress).• Experience in the development and implementation of test strategies and Automated Test Equipment for new products.• Some experience of supporting Manufacturing Teams and Design teams.
