Our client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced Test Architect to assist the project Verification Lead in implementing the Test and Testability Policy for the product. This role also involves supporting other business areas in the deployment and through-life management of Test Equipment at the Stevenage site.

What you'll get to do as an Equipment Test Architect:

  • Lead the development of the Test Equipment TRS for the product.
  • Responsible for working with the Delivery lead and Design lead in defining and implementing the Test and Testability Policy within a Programme.
  • Support the overall Test Equipment Development activity to ensure delivery of required Test Equipment.
  • Liaise with Manufacturing and PDS teams for Test Equipment related activities
  • Support the definition of optimal BIT coverage at the sub-system level.
  • Lead the development of diagnostic strategies for production.

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in Development and Production Test Techniques and their implementation. They should have a solid understanding of structured hardware Modelling techniques, with a preference for eXpress. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record in developing and implementing test strategies and Automated Test Equipment for new products. Some experience in supporting both Manufacturing Teams and Design Teams is also required. It is essential that the candidate is a UK national or citizen to be eligible for this role.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our clients Security Team.

This role is based at their headquarters site in Stevenage which plays a key part in missiles operations. The site also offers excellent transportation links and boasts an onsite gym and coffee shop. Training and development are offered to all employees.
