We're recruiting a SEND Specialist Assistant For fantastic schools in Hemel Hempstead and Welwyn Garden City area for an January start. This is a chance to make a difference by supporting a special needs student on a 1:1 basis and being a part of a supportive environment.
The School:
- The School's have been rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED.
- Looking for a Temporary to a Permanent opportunity.
- Offer amazing free in house training and courses such as 'BSL', 'Makaton' and 'Epliepsy awareness'.
- Provide opportunities for growth and support within the role.
The Role:
- As a SEND Specialist Assistant you will provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with special needs, including personal care.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to create a supportive and engaging learning environment as a SEND Specialist Assistant.
- Assist in setting up and tidying classrooms for lessons as a SEND Specialist Assistant.
- Help ensure the student's needs are met both in the classroom and around the school as a SEND Specialist Assistant.
Requirements:
- Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm.
- DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
- Experience working with children in the UK
- Live in the Hemel Hempstead or Welwyn Garden city area or able to commute to the area.
