Role: Part-Time/Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Day Rate: £90

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEN students, adjusting materials to meet individual needs.
Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to implement tailored learning plans.
Foster a nurturing and safe environment that encourages student engagement and well-being.
Support students during lessons, break times, and other school activities.
Help prepare learning resources and materials.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEN is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students, staff, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting children's diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are a bonus but not essential.
Ability to adapt to different classroom challenges.
Local commute to Stevenage.
