SEN TA -Autism Focus - Superb School in Stevenage
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or teacher with experience supporting pupils with Autism? Tradewdind are looking for a passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (TA) for an exciting opportunity in a leading mainstream Secondary School in Stevange.
Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with an exceptional Secondary School to source a dedicated and experienced TA to work on a 1:1 basis with a small number of pupils who require varying levels of support in a mainstream setting. This role offers a competitive salary of £100 to £115 per day. This is an ongoing role with the expectation to become permanent in July 2025.

To be successful in this role, we require:
- Experience working as a TA/SEN TA/LSA in a U.K Primary/Secondary School, or a minimum CACHE Level 2 qualification, or recent graduates with a passion for education.
- The ability to inspire, engage, and progress students of all backgrounds and ages.
- Some understanding of SEN, particularly autism, dyslexia, and communications difficulties, and a strong desire to work with Special Needs pupils.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 3.30pm, starting ASAP or from February half term for exceptional candidates.
