We are looking for a qualified SEN teacher to work within an SEN school which caters for pupils aged 3 to 19 with severe complex learning difficulties. You will be working with a small class (4 to 6 students) and you will have teaching assistants assigned to your class to offer further support.

The curriculum is destination led and they work closely with parents and carer in order to achieve the best outcomes for their pupils. The school has high expectations and use personalised learning to support their pupils to become happy and confident young people.

It's a very well run school with supportive leadership. Feedback has always been excellent. The environment is very friendly and a positive place to work.

You can commute to this school vis public transport but being car driver would be ideal

This is for an Immediate start.

Key Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Qualified SEN Teacher - primary or secondary
  • Experience working with children who have complex
  • Familiar with PECS and Makaton
  • Genuine passion for Special Educational Needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and professional manor
