Our client is a Global charity who is looking for a new Donor Relationship Manager who will help them develop an exciting new journey for their key donors. They will be working in Stevenage on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the SDT to build and develop effective donor programmes for supporters in the Top Market and Mid-Level segments.• Ensure all communication and stewardship are relevant to these levels of donor, to maximise the opportunity for these supporters to be moved up to the Philanthropy Team.• Manage the Supporter Retention Project Manager to ensure their objectives are met and all activities are delivered.• Work closely with other managers & the senior leadership team, to contribute to the wider fundraising objectives and decisions on best processes and solutions.• Work with the Supporter Retention Project Manager and the wider team to deliver all scheduled campaigns on time and within brand and • messaging guidelines.• Work with the Marketing Team on all digital fundraising e-blasts, scheduling them to complement and amplify postal DM work.• Review and develop fully-integrated supporter journeys per segment across all platforms, ensuring there is particular emphasis on uplift, conversion, and reactivation.• Manage and monitor a new nationwide legacy campaign programme, which will include marketing opportunities, free wills months, in-memory giving, and the drip-feeding of legacy messaging across all communications.• Work alongside the Marketing Team to ensure online and offline legacy fundraising collateral is on- message and successful.

Desired experience:

• Marketing or fundraising qualification.• Extensive management of multiple priorities and projects to tight deadlines.• Worked within a similar direct marketing environment, and able to demonstrate the relevant skills and attributes to contribute effectively to the team’s understanding of practices and principles.• Some basic knowledge of databases/software, such as Salesforce, Pardot etc.• Coordination and management of key external suppliers to deliver successful direct marketing campaigns.• Thorough knowledge of a broad spectrum of supporter development fundraising strategies and techniques.• Experience of legacy fundraising.• Ability to collect information from various sources, analyse findings and action such findings in a way that meets desired outcomes.
