Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust are seeking to welcome a motivated Band 6 or 7 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join their Adult Speech and Language Therapy team in outpatients, community and inpatients settings.

In this role you will be required to:

  • Carry out appropriate assessments for clients to evaluate the information gained to make appropriate clinical decisions based on highly specialised clinical knowledge and including different diagnosis
  • Determine and structure appropriate care plans for intervention including treatment, advice, review, discharge, information exchange and communication with client, team members and carers following assessment

What you’ll need:

  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • Licence to Practice
  • Registered with HCPC
  • The successful candidate will need to be competent and confidant in preparing and using electronic information.
  • The post holder needs to have up to date IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft outlook and word.
  • A knowledge and /or experience of using RIO patient held record system would be of benefit.
  • Car for community work

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
