My client is seeking an SMT Machine Operator for PCB assembly/build.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate equipment including DEK screen print machine, pick and place machine, reflow solder oven, and AOI.
- Hand solder Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 standards.
- Perform fine soldering under magnification.
- Assemble surface mount and through-hole components.
- Carry out standard assembly activities, adhering to procedures, safety, and timescales.
- Ensure efficient workflow and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Essential:
- Prior circuit card assembly knowledge.
- Dexterity for fine work and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret layouts.
- ESD training and flexible shift availability.
Desirable:
- IPC 610 certification or training.
- Experience with fine soldering under magnification and surface mount assembly.
