Job Profile
We are currently seeking an experienced Fine Limit Fabrication Welder to join our dynamic team.
As the successful Fabricator Welder, you will have experience in a similar environment and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship across a range of products.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a fine-limit welding and fabrication role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Competence in using a range of manufacturing tools and equipment.
- A commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fine Limit Sheet Metal Fabricating and Welding is a must.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding, with a strong emphasis on TIG, on Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including welding symbols and relevant specifications.
- Produce test pieces that meet the standards outlined in BS EN 9606 parts 1 & 2 Qualification Testing of Welders Fusion Welding.
- Utilise various manufacturing tools and equipment, including hand tools, band saws, guillotines, pedestal drills, and plasma cutters.
- Experience with press brakes and fly presses is an advantage.
Hours of Work:
- 37.5hrs per week
- Monday - Thursday 8.00 - 16.15, Friday 8.00 - 15.00
- £18-£20 per hourbasic
- Overtime available and paid at time x1.5hrs
