The school is also known for its strong sense of community and dedication to student welfare, making it an ideal place for both learning and teaching.Hays are seeking a Cover Supervisor to oversee groups or whole classes in the absence of a teacher due to illness, personal reasons, or planned professional development. When not required to cover lessons, you will provide administrative support to meet the needs of the school.Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students and deliver pre-prepared resources in the absence of a teacher
  • Promote student engagement and support their progress
  • Create a calm and productive learning environment
  • Set and maintain high expectations and standards
  • Follow school systems to ensure a disruption-free learning environment
  • Establish positive relationships with students

Role Details:

  • Teach students across the secondary age range
  • Deliver lessons using pre-prepared resources across multiple subjects
  • Ensure students complete assigned work to the best of their ability
