Etex UK Insulation Ltd (formerly Superglass UK) are a manufacturer of mineral glass wool thermal and acoustic insulation.  We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our site based in the heart of Stirling.  This is a new role and will be key to shaping the future of our warehousing function. A crucial role in our Supply Chain department overseeing our warehouse operations.  Responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of materials, ensuring stock accuracy, and supervising a team to maintain operation efficiency.

Warehouse Manager - Accountabilities

•  Ensures Health, Safety and Well-being of self and shows the commitment to ensuring that safety is our number one priority
•  Supervise, train, and develop a team of warehouse staff, implementing and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards
•  Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods to meet business requirements
•  Manage & maintain accurate inventory records with monthly cycle counts, ensuring aged stock rotation and damaged stock control.
•  Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, enhance productivity and maximise use of warehouse space
•  Set measurable KPIs, SOP’s and expectations in line with company objectives. Ensure structured and planned training and development for self and team to maximise skill levels, flexibility and absence cover. Monitor and communicate progress.
•  Work closely with suppliers, transport and production departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
•  Collaborates with other teams including engineering maintenance and the Service Centre
•  Ensure warehouse equipment & plant hire is well-maintained and staff training in its use is completed and up-to-date
•  Provide regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels and operational issues for the supply chain manager; keep other relevant managers and departments informed on all relevant matters, problems or requirements

•  Experience in warehouse management
•  Well-developed people management skills
•  Experience of establishing and leading a team through change
•  Highly organised
•  Ability to work to deadlines
•  Strong IT skills, including MS Excel, MS Teams
•  Aptitude to learn new or bespoke IT systems  
•  Problem solving skills
•  Evidence of keeping up to date with evolving business practice
