Job Title: QC Inspector (Night Shift)


We're looking for an experienced QC Inspector to join our clients team on the night shift. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting mechanical and piping works on a gas process and storage facility.


What we're looking for:

  • At least 10 years of experience in site inspections, preferably with well-known EPC companies. Gas plant experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect mechanical works on-site, including welding, final inspections, and reviewing reports.
  • Review test packs and witness various tests like pressure leak testing.
  • Handover your shift's work to the day-shift inspector, clearly communicating any issues, punch points, or NCRs that need attention.


Key Skills:

  1. Ability to read isometric and P&ID drawings.
  2. Monitor and witness cleanliness inspections based on AP Cleanliness Specifications.
  3. Oversee all shift activities, including weld fit-ups and visual inspections (CSWIP 3.1 minimum).
  4. Review test packs to ensure documentation is in line with the Pressure Testing ITP.
  5. Witness and report on pressure testing.
  6. Complete shift reports and ensure smooth handover to the next team.
