Technician (repairing/servicing medical equipment)
Salary - £11.44ph
Location - Stirling
Working hours 0830 - 1700 (40 hours pw)
Working days Monday - Friday
Our client is looking for a Technician to join their team in Stirling on a temp basis for a minimum of 3 months (permanent opportunities available for the right candidate).
The role will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of various items of medical equipment following Health and Safety guidelines (training will be provided)
Key Responsibilities
* To test, repair and clean oxygen therapy equipment (training provided)
* To conduct the day to day processing, fault finding, repair and testing of medical equipment (training provided)
* Ensure equipment meets manufacturer and technical standards suitable for use by patients (training provided)
* Fully document service reports (training provided)
* Participation in oxygen fill plant maintenance regimes in liaison with the Service Team Leader (training provided)
* To ensure the Health & Safety/welfare of yourself and fellow colleague
Skills and experience
* Experience working in a technical role
* Skilled working independently and with a team
* Good communication skills both written and verbal
* Happy to be flexible when working within a team
* Experience as a technician repairing medical equipment preferred but not essential (training will be provided)
