Primary duties:
- Support a safe working environment across the business, providing administrative support at both Head Office and Site Project activities.
- Updating, reviewing, and editing SHEQ procedures, forms, and policies, notifying departments of document review dates and maintaining the drawing and document register(s).
- Reviewing and maintaining the Competency Matrix; adding new starters, and maintaining personnel training and induction records.
- Reviewing and maintaining the SHEQ system Registers; reviewing status of open actions with action owners to ensure completion.
- Assist in SHEQ audits in accordance with the company audit program and inspection plans.
Secondary duties:
- Monthly update of notice boards and metrics.
- Conduct any other ad-hoc duties within your skill set as required and instructed by the SHEQ managers.
- Collate statistics and information for SHEQ metrics.
- Reviewing and maintaining the Preferred Suppliers List; ensuring supplier accreditations are up to date and set up new supplier folders.
- Assist with ensuring that all findings from audits and inspections are communicated, actioned and closed to the required level.
- Champion the QHSE departments document control (document log, numbering and proofreading)
- Ensure that the site safety folders, paperwork and databases relating to QHSE are being maintained.
- Issue monthly bulletins.
- Assisting with compiling and updating Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments.
- Support the waste management system.
This job requires:
- Computer Literate. Must be MS Office proficient
- Excellent communication skills to convey internal and external operational updates.
- Experience in Administration in an office environment.
- Self-sufficient and driven individual who is able to work both alone and as part of a team.
- Keen to learn and develop personal skillset and knowledge.
Desirable:
- Working with H&S, Quality or Environment management systems and processes.
- Working in an Engineering based Company.
