We are seeking a skilled Multi Skilled Engineer for our Engineering & Manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining our FMCG production lines, preventative maintenance plans, CAPEX projects, continuous improvement projects, while ensuring optimal efficiency and minimising downtime.

Description

  • Maintenance and repair of all production equipment
  • Ensuring maximum equipment availability and reliability
  • Carrying out machine inspections, maintaining records and reporting any faults
  • Complying with health and safety regulations
  • Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Conducting routine preventative maintenance
  • Liaising with external equipment suppliers
  • Training and mentoring junior engineering staff

Profile

A successful Multi Skilled Engineer should have:

  • Relevant Engineering qualifications and/or Engineering mindset
  • A foundational understanding of FMCG (Food, Beverage, Personal Care, etc.) manufacturing processes
  • Solid experience in equipment maintenance and repair
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and an inquisitive nature
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, communicate effectively with various stake holders and pitch Continuous Improvement ideas to Operations Manager and board members.
