Our client has an opportunity for a CH47 Mechanical Supervisor to join them on a contract basis. You will form part of an MRO modification, servicing and repair team.

Role: Chinook Mechanical Supervisor
Location: Middle Wallop, United Kingdom
Shifts: Full-Time, Days, Onsite
IR35 Status: Inside
Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve BPSS
Hourly Rate: Discussed on Application

Contract Position 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembles disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing removing replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversees/completes assembly disassembly or overhaul.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots complex aircraft systems to isolate and repair faulty components within guidelines published in authorized maintenance documents.
  • Performs testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.


Requirements:

  • Ideally you will have extensive experience working on Military Aircraft and be familiar with Boeing specifications and drawings
  • Served a recognized relevant trade apprenticeship or trade training equivalent, and should have knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety & COSHH.
  • Have experience supervising a team of aircraft technicians
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Experience with working with limited supervision
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
