Description
- Completion of audit assignments from planning through to approval stage.
- Preparation of accounts and tax computations.
- Provision of a range of financial advisory services to clients.
- Ensuring compliance with internal and external audit standards.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients.
- Working as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
- Identifying opportunities for business development and growth.
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to their professional development.
Profile
A successful 'Accounts and Audit' should have:
- A degree in a related field such as Accounting or Finance.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
- Experience in both accounting and auditing roles within a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and mentor junior staff members.
