As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, you will be working closely with senior team members, contributing to both audit assignments and accounts preparation. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in audit planning, fieldwork, and completion for a range of clients
• Preparing financial statements and management accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
• Supporting the audit team in reviewing client records and financial data
• Ensuring compliance with audit regulations and accounting standards
• Liaising directly with clients to request necessary information and provide updates
• Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting tax compliance
• Developing your technical knowledge and working towards senior responsibilities

This growing Stockport-based accountancy practice is part of a larger network, providing a full suite of audit, accounts, tax, and advisory services.

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, with relevant experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong understanding of audit and accounts preparation processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
