Interim Management Accountant opportunity within an established growing SME business with a global client base.
THE COMPANY
An established growing SME business with a global client base and a reputation for suppling retailers with the highest quality products. The business is based in the Stockport area, entrepreneur-led and is seeking an Interim Management Accountant for at least 3 months.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Management Accountant you will have full responsibility for accounting and finance, overseeing Purchase & Sales Ledger, preparing monthly Management Accounts and reporting to the MD on business progress and performance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing weekly / monthly bookkeeping
- Producing monthly management accounts for the business
- Preparing financial analysis and reports for the MD
- Preparing costings for new products, reviewing costs on existing product range
- Monitoring stock levels and liaising with the Production Team
- Supporting Budgeting / Forecasting procedures
- Assisting in the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts
- Improving internal Accounting and Reporting systems
Benefits will include:
- Salary of £35,000 - £45,000

THE PERSONYou will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:
- AAT Qualified, CIMA / ACCA or Qualified By Experience (QBE)
- Background within industry or Chartered Accountancy Practice (c.3 - 5 years)
- Experience of Management Accounts, VAT, Bookkeeping and Annual Accounts
- Conversant with Sage 50 and Excel
- Comfortable working in an autonomous role, reporting to a business owner
