Urgently Required: Internal Auditor in Stockport (Temp to Perm)

Search Consultancy is partnering with a community service organisation to recruit an Internal Auditor for their team in Stockport for a temp to perm opportunity. This will be full time hours of 37.5 hours 5 days a week and in a temp position for 12 weeks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or anyone passionate about finance and looking to start their finance career.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct financial audits across England with remote follow-ups.
  • Perform remote finance audits as per the agreed schedule.
  • Audit cash funds and record transactions.
  • Promote good financial management practices.
  • Report any suspected fraud or mismanagement.
  • Ensure business compliance through audits.
  • Investigate suspected financial mismanagement.
  • Conduct interview reviews with Head Office.
  • Deliver training and skills development sessions nationally.
Requirements:
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Experience in producing written reports.
  • Good general education.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Analytic skills.
  • Experience in data analysis.
  • Driving ability (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in compliance and audits (desirable but not essential).
  • Relevant vocational qualification (desirable but not essential).

This role offers an hourly rate equivalent to £26,000 per annum. It includes some office-based work and remote travel for audit visits, with travel expenses covered. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their finance career and seeking valuable experience.
