The out-of-hours service in Manchester is committed to providing urgent medical care when regular GP services are closed. We are looking for skilled and compassionate Advanced Clinical Practitioner's to join a dynamic team.

Job Description: As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in our out-of-hours service, you will play a crucial role in delivering urgent care to patients. You will work autonomously, using your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
  • Prescribing medications and treatments
  • Providing expert clinical advice and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Allied Health Professional with a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body (NMC, HCPC, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in urgent or emergency care settings
  • Excellent clinical skills and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
