Description
As the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
- Assess supplier performance and conduct supplier audits.
- Implement corrective actions to address supplier quality issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements.
- Ensure adherence to industrial standards and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and report on supplier quality-related key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage the supplier quality approval process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Understand and interpret all manufacturing audits in accordance with; ISO 9001, 14001, AQAP 2110 and other industry standards.
Profile
A successful Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer should have:
- Quality or Supply Chain Management Qualification (or 5 years experience)
- A qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Valid Passport and Driving License
- Level 2 Paint Inspection
- Strong LEAN, CI background
- Experience of APQP, PPAP, FMEAs
- Excellent influencing and communication skills
Job Offer
- An annual salary range of 45,000 - 52,000
