STOCKPORT, GREATER MANACHESTER
SALARY - Up to 45,000 pa

Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Project Architect to join their established Architecture and Interior design practice based in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester. The successful applicant will take a lead role on a variety of small to large scale projects within the hospitality and leisure sectors. With the support of the full design team, you will run your own projects from inception to final delivery. Previous experience of Hospitality projects would be an advantage, however suitable experience in other sectors can also be considered.

The Role:

As Project Architect you will take responsibility for the management of projects from inception through to final handover.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Liaison with clients and stakeholders to develop concepts to meet their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the full design team to translate those concepts into planning application packages, detailed technical drawings and construction documents for tender and construction phases.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they meet timelines and budgets.
  • Undertake site visits and chair project review meetings when required.
  • Coordinate with contractors and external design consultants.

About you


Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:
  • ARB / RIBA registered Architect.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post Part III experience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating suitable experience, ideally of projects within the hospitality or leisure sectors.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplined design and delivery teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge and a keen eye for details.
