Our client is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead their UK team, ensuring the delivery of an intuitive and seamless service to employees. This role offers a competitive salary range of £45K - £55K and the opportunity to work in a hybrid model with only two days per week required in the Stockport office. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a significant impact on employee servicing journeys through process improvement and digital solutions.

What you'll do:
As a People Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of leading a dedicated team, ensuring they deliver an exceptional service to employees. You will handle all transactional HR administration requests that come through our HR ticket system across the employee life-cycle. Your role will also involve identifying opportunities for process improvement by leveraging automation, generative AI, and digitisation capabilities. You will be responsible for managing relationships with third-party providers and analysing people data to drive decision making. Your strong organisational skills will be crucial in supporting the HR and People team with various projects.
- Lead and support the People Operations team ensuring efficient handling of HR administration requests
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance employee servicing journeys
- Manage relationships with third-party pre-employment checks provider
- Analyse people data to drive decision making and provide valuable insights
- Support the HR and People team with ad-hoc work and projects linked to People plan deliverables
- Act as Risk Champion for the People team, supporting with audit requests
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this People Operations Manager role brings extensive experience in HR administration or within an HR shared service model. You have proven experience in managing teams effectively, coupled with a deep understanding of HR systems. Your experience in improving HR processes and implementing digital solutions will be key in this role. You possess strong data analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and are adept at problem-solving. Your ability to take ownership, work on your own initiative, and interact effectively with people at all levels will set you apart.
- Extensive experience in HR administration or HR shared service model
- Proven experience in people management
- Knowledge and understanding of HR systems (Experience with Success Factors would be beneficial)
- Experience in HR process improvement and implementing digital solutions
- Strong data analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions to process challenges
