People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Stockport.

Rates of Pay:
- Basic: £16.00 per hour
- Saturday : £20.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 HIAB Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Operate and drive Class 2 HIAB vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Operate a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently
- Complete up to four deliveries per shift
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Hold a valid HIAB qualification
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving Category C vehicles (insurance purposes)
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience conducting multi drop deliveries will be beneficial
Training
- Driver's assessment must be completed
- Training provided on first shift
