Driver Hire Stockport is recruiting experienced part-time HGV Drivers (Class 1 and Class 2) for various clients in the SK Postcode area.
Candidates should be flexible and ideally seek 2-3 days of work per week, with start times typically between 5am and 8am.
Applicants must possess a valid Cat C or Cat CE Licence, a valid CPC, a Digital Tachograph card, and at least 6 months of relevant driving experience.
Pay rates are £14 per hour for Class 2 drivers and £15 per hour for Class 1 drivers, with overtime rates of £18.66 and £20 respectively after 8 hours.
Holidays can be paid upfront, and interested candidates are encouraged to apply now.

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for experienced part-time HGV Drivers (Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) to come and join our agency and work for a variety of our clients around the SK Postcode.We have work available Monday through to Friday. Ideally you will be looking for 2-3 days work a week (in peak times we may be able to offer more days) and will be flexible with the days and hours you can work but we can work around your availability!The start times vary depending on the client but usually between 5am-8am starts.We have various roles such as haulage, flatbed work, day and night work with over 40 customers supplied weekly.Duties of this HGV Driver includes:

Driving HGV Class 2 or HGV Class 1 vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
Completing paperwork accurately as instructed

Our HGV Driver must have:

Cat C Licence (Category C - HGV Class 2 Driver) or Cat CE Licence )
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
No DD’s, DR’s, IN’s, TT’s
Must have 6 months relevant driving experience.
Full UK Driving licence.
Able to work to tight deadlines.

Pay Rates:

Class 2 - 14ph & 18.66ph Overtime ( After 8 )

Class 1 - 15ph & 20ph Overtime ( After 8 )
