Driver/Gardener 7.5T

VTA Recruitment are looking for an experianced driver/gardener with 7.5t licence to join our clients street care team, based in Stockport.

Our client provides a huge range of services to the public and private sectors across Greater Manchester. The Street Care team achieve and maintain street cleansing standards and undertake general grounds maintenance duties.

Details:

- £13.26 per hour

- Monday-Friday

- Hours of work (summer), 7.30am to 3.12pm, 36 hrs a week – up to mid March

- Hours of work (summer), 7.15am to 4.21pm, 43 hrs a week – from mid March

Responsibilities:

- Experience of using grounds equipment is preferable, strimmers, hand mowers, hedgecutters etc.

- Assist with landscape maintenance, such as mowing lawns and trimming hedges.

- Perform general groundskeeping duties to keep the outdoor areas clean and presentable.

- To drive a 3.5 tonne tipper, with if possible, an experience of using trailers.

- Good knowledge of Stockport is helpful.

Requirements:

- Must have C1 Licence (7.5T) – Will need a Tachocard or be prepared to apply for one

- Previous experience in gardening or groundskeeping is necessary.

- Ability to safely use powered hand tools such as strimmers and hedgecutters.

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
