Commercial Gas Engineer - Stockport & Surrounding Areas

My client, a leading provider of commercial maintenance services, is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team. They specialize in heating, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, providing expert installation, repair, and planned maintenance services to a wide range of commercial properties across the Northwest.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of gas systems in commercial settings, carrying out maintenance and repairs to high standards.

Salary: 45,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Northwest, with the head office based in Stockport

Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Gas Engineer:

  • Install, service, and repair commercial gas appliances and heating systems.

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.

  • Ensure all work adheres to current gas safety regulations and standards.

  • Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.

  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain comprehensive records of all work.

The ideal Commercial Gas Engineer will have:

  • Strong understanding of commercial gas systems and regulations.

  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve faults with minimal disruption.

  • High attention to detail, ensuring precision in all installations and repairs.

  • Valid Commercial Gas Safe Certification (CCN1, COCN1).

  • Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in gas engineering.

  • Full UK driving license.
