Introduction brief:

One of the leading manufacturers in their market is going through a massive growth period and due to this are looking for an area sales manager to join the team. This particular role will be covering the Yorkshire, East Midlands and the East of England. The company in question has been running for 30 years and has a strong hold on the market.

This is a warm patch for the business with lots of further growth to be added.

Package: Area Sales Manager

  • Base salary: £50,000 per annum (Potential negotiation) - OTE £25,000
  • Office based in Stockport (Attend on average once per week, 4 days on the road)

Job duties:

  • Manage relationships with B2B customers
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers by providing timely and comprehensive information about products and/or services, as well as preparing proposals on new opportunities.
  • Support customers with technical issues both on-site and at their premises through advice and problem-solving with a view to training, as well as meeting customer satisfaction.
  • Help achieve the sales budget of the professional channel through strong account management and helping installing customers to win business opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers within existing and/or new markets.
  • Analyse the volume, turnover and product portfolio mix by customer and share this information internally with the departments involved.
