Groundworker

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliableGroundworker Rake Handwith aClass 2 (Category C) licenceto join our team. The role involves assisting in various groundwork projects, particularly in asphalt and tarmac operations, while also being responsible for driving and operating Class 2 vehicles when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and raking materials such as tarmac and asphalt to the correct levels and finishes.

• Assisting with groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, concreting, and other related tasks.

• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Driving and operating Class 2 vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.

• Supporting machine operators and other team members on-site.

• Ensuring work is completed to high safety and quality standards.

• Following health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as aGroundworker/Rake Hand, particularly in tarmac or surfacing.

• Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licencewith a valid CPC and tachograph card.

• Experience using rakes, screeds, and compacting equipment.

• Knowledge of site safety and construction industry regulations.

• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
