Our client based in Bredbury (Stockport) is looking for a skilled CNC Miller - Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.Rate - £39,000 to £40,000 per annum + overtime+ 33% shift allowance Hours - Monday to Thursday 08:30pm-7:00am (Night Shifts)RoleTo machine components to technical drawings and specifications.Duties? Set-up and operate CNC machines.? Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.? Self-inspection of their own work.? Preventative & General maintenance checks.? Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times.Competencies? Read and understand engineering drawings.? Ability to set and operate CNC machines - Mill turn? Ability to edit and prove out CNC programs.? Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc.)? Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances.? Good attention to detail.? Strong team player with a can do attitude.? Must be self-motivated.Accountabilities and Performance Measures? Produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner.? Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.? Excellent timekeeping and attendance.Job Requirements Qualifications? Previous experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred but not essential.? Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC machines.? Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.?
