This is a great opportunity for an experiencedElectrical Contracts Manager to join our long-standing M&E Client based in the Reddish area, you will reporting to the Managing Director.

The Electrical Contracts Manager will be responsible for:

  • Able to work effectively whilst under pressure
  • Able to assess and identify compliance shortfalls or engineering opportunities within designs
  • Able to follow business processes whilst managing multiple time pressured tasks
  • Understanding contract requirements and the ability to establish and deliver to meet the employers requirements
  • Complete commissioning program, with technical queries resolved prior to developing, implementing and managing commissioning periods of project
  • Sound relationships within the industry marketplace, and will be responsible for procurement in line with the business targets
  • Effectively plan and programme works, with the ability to communicate the strategy up and down the chain
  • Review sub-contractor health and documentation,
  • Successfully manage direct and sub-contract labour packages in accordance with MEP and construction programmes
  • Accurately forecast labour, material and sub-contract spend for all projects and report this at agreed intervals
  • Administer project account management including pricing of variations and project adjustments for presentation to the client
  • Estimate projects and be involved in the securing of new projects to continue the incoming flow of work
  • Ensure that direct operatives health and safety is maintained and organize with MD and Admin to identify requirements and book courses
  • Maintain own training requirements to carry out duties and plan future growth of self and discuss and agree with MD
  • Ensure all test reports and commissioning are completed and are issued to clients in a timely manner
  • Deputise for Managing Director in his absence
