Job Description: Contracts Manager
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £45,000 + Car Allowance, Pension Contribution
Holidays: 21 days + Bank Holidays
Company Overview: My client are a leading subcontractor specializing in office fit-outs, with a strong focus on flooring. They have a diverse range of clients and are currently looking for a dedicated Contracts Manager to join their team.
Majority of the work will be within the North West however on occasion the candidate may be required to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Oversee and manage contracts from initiation to completion.
Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure project safety and compliance.
Material Ordering: Handle the procurement of materials required for projects.
Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish once they are on-site.
Coordination: Work closely with our team of 16 fitters and another Contracts Manager.
Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, including Overbury, and liaise with key contacts such as Shaun A and Matthew W.
Site Meetings: Attend and conduct site meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
Documentation: Prepare job sheets and other necessary documentation.
Requirements:
Experience: Must have a background in flooring, ideally with experience working for a flooring contractor.
Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills.
Role: Must have 3+ years experience at Project or Contracts Manager level.
