Harbour Healthcare are recruiting for amazing people like you to join our team as a Credit Controller based in Stockport to join our Finance team.  Harbour Healthcare provide only the highest level and standards to our residents and will mean that you are joining a team who put residents care and comfort before everything else.

Your main duties will be to work through excel spreadsheets of debt and credits and use your new knowledge of Cold Harbour to create individual spreadsheets of payments for each account to trace the origin of the debt/credit.  These will then be compiled into reports to send to LA’s and letters to private debtors and with discussion with the Senior Credit Controller, send to solicitors so that we can eradicate each line of the debt reports.

Experience of excel spreadsheet and cold harbour system will be preferential. 

Other responsibilities include, -

  • Answering telephone for general account queries and taking over the phone card payments.
  • Running reports from Cold Harbour to establish any arrears.
  • Liaising with homes to ensure all correct funding streams are in place.
  • Liaising with LA’s / ICB’s to chase up missing funding.
  • Calling/writing to anyone with arrears to chase up payments.
  • Other general office duties.

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such.
