A CAD Designer/Design Engineer is needed to join a strong Engineering & Manufacturing team based in Stockport. The successful candidate will have exceptional CAD skills and a deep knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry.

Description
- Produce detailed, technical drawings for design solutions withing the Engineering Design team.
- Check, Edit and Maintain drawings and other Technical Documentation.
- Prepare technical documents such as specifications, reports, manuals, procedures.
- Support hardware development and testing.
- Compile technical documents and test specifications.
- Interpret technical specifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and purchasing functions.
- Provide support for the production, test and field engineering teams.
- Support the sales team with bids and quotations.
Profile
A successful CAD Designer/Design Engineer should have:
- Experience working within an Engineering team and Design Department
- Extensive proficiency in CAD software.
- Proven experience of BoM management and configuration.
- Knowledge and use of Geometrical Tolerances, ISO and ASME technical drawing standards.
- Strong knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry and its design standards.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team.
