A world-renowned engineering business is seeking to appoint a Draughtsperson due to unprecedented growth.
The successful candidate will produce detailed engineering drawings in 3D & 2D CAD and liaise with suppliers and production teams.
Candidates should have experience with CAD and PDM software, along with a background in heavy engineering or precision machining.
A competitive salary is offered, along with benefits such as an enhanced pension, 25 days holiday, and an early finish on Fridays.
Applicants should have an HNC/D or degree in Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience in the field.

Due to unprecedented growth, a world-renowned engineering business are looking to appoint a Draughtsperson.

Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer, the successful Draughtsperson will work on state-of-the-art equipment. The role involves producing detailed and technical engineering drawings in 3D & 2D CAD, checking drawings, preparing specifications and documentation. In addition to this the role will entail dealing with suppliers directly, liaising and supporting the production and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD and PDM software, BOMs and knowledge of Geometrical tolerances. In return the company offer a competitive package and stability.

Draughtsperson Requirements:

HNC/D or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with heavy engineering/fabrications through to precision machined components
3D CAD all packages welcome
GD&T
