Job Summary

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting innovative and energy-efficient mechanical solutions for a diverse range of building services projects.

Your role will encompass the design and installation of systems such as air-conditioning, heating, cooling, ventilation, and steam services across various commercial applications. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that all mechanical designs align with client specifications, industry standards, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed mechanical designs for building services projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, including air-conditioning, heating, cooling, ventilation, and steam services.

  • Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.

  • Ensure all designs prioritize energy efficiency and sustainability.

  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate innovative solutions into designs.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the building services industry.

  • Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to mechanical engineering.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including air-conditioning, heating, cooling, ventilation, and steam services.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
