We are currently working with a Global Leader in Defence who are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at a leading engineering company in the UK.

With a rich history of over a century in engineering excellence, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality solutions globally. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering engineering projects efficiently while maintaining technical standards and meeting customer requirements.

This role would suit a qualified individual with a degree in engineering and substantial experience in mechanical systems design, testing, and development. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of medium and heavy engineering, including large welded and bolted structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team designers to develop design solutions.
  • Review and check drawings.
  • Prepare technical documents such as specifications, reports, and manuals.
  • Undertake hardware development and testing.
  • Interpret technical specifications and liaise with suppliers.


In return you'll receive a salary up to 50k, a pension with 7% contribution and Flexible & Hybrid working patterns.
