Reeson Education is working with a welcoming, two-form entry primary school in the SK2 area of Stockport to find a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support Year 2 and Year 3 pupils. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential for a school contract for the right person.

The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who are not currently meeting age-related expectations. The children are of mixed ability, with some requiring additional support due to mild learning difficulties. The role will involve working in core subjects and delivering interventions to help these pupils progress and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

  • Providing targeted support to Year 2 and Year 3 pupils in core subjects
  • Delivering small-group and one-to-one interventions to raise attainment
  • Assisting with lesson delivery and adapting materials to meet individual learning needs
  • Encouraging pupil engagement and boosting confidence in their abilities

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
