Electrical Design Engineer6 month contract£480 per dayHybrid – 2 days per month in either Stockport or Salford.  We require an Electrical Design Engineer on a 6-month contract, where you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable energy solutions within the Public and CHP sectors, helping large-scale clients, including the NHS, leisure centres, and industrial facilities, to reduce carbon emissions and boost energy efficiency.  As part of a collaborative team, you’ll work across the entire project lifecycle—from initial site surveys and concept development to detailed design and commissioning. You’ll be responsible for preparing technical deliverables like single-line diagrams, control panel drawings, and cable schedules, and working closely with a Lead Engineer to ensure project success.  Ideal candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related experience in power distribution, control systems, or building services. Familiarity with electrical schematics, as well as knowledge in areas like generators, heat pumps, switchgear, and electrical compliance codes, is essential.
