A leading manufacturer of luxury home products is expanding and looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical focus to join their dynamic team. You'll thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, taking on a hands-on, proactive role.

You will be responsible for all aspects of electrical repairs, maintenance and installation of a wide and varied range of manufacturing machinery, adding value by identifying potential issues and advising on corrective actions.

***Up to £40,000, Monday -Friday Days, Life Assurance, Medical Assistance Program***

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Maintenance of all electrical/mechanical equipment on site including services, distribution, and plant machinery.
  • Electrical/mechanical installation work as required for new plant, machinery, equipment and services.
  • Monitoring the condition of services and machinery reporting defects to management.
  • Diagnosing and repairing (where possible), electrical/mechanical faults that occur in the building services, plant, machinery and other electrical/mechanical equipment.
  • Assist with the training of apprentices and any other training needs of the department.

To be successful in the role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

  • Be apprentice trained or equivalent, holding a minimum of NVQ level 3 in electrical maintenance or installation.
  • Have a proven track record in a similar role within a factory/manufacturing environment, with an extensive Electrical understanding and some basic mechanical ability.
  • Possess solid fault-finding skills and have the ability to interpret schematic drawings.
  • Hold 18th Edition certification.
  • Have experience of PLCs.
